1886 vote of no confidence against the government of William Gladstone

The 1886 vote of no confidence against the government of William Ewart Gladstone occurred when Parliament rejected the Government's Ireland Bill. The Bill was treated as a confidence vote and Gladstone resigned immediately after.[1]
